Meet Lizeth Felix, LMFT

Couples therapist specializing in attachment-based work for lasting emotional connection.

I work with couples who are stuck in patterns that feel exhausting, confusing, or emotionally distant, even when love is still there.

My approach is grounded in attachment theory and focuses on understanding the emotional dynamics underneath conflict, shutdown, and disconnection, not just the surface arguments.

Rather than teaching scripts or communication tricks, I help couples slow down, recognize their patterns in real time, and build emotional safety so change can actually take root.

How I Work With Couples

  • A structured, attachment-based process

  • Direct but compassionate guidance

  • Focus on emotional safety, not blame

  • Space for both partners without taking sides

  • Change that is practiced, not just understood

What You Can Expect in This Work

Experience & Training

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with over a decade of experience working with individuals and couples navigating relational distress, attachment injuries, and emotional disconnection.

My work is informed by Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), attachment theory, and trauma-informed care. I regularly pursue advanced training and consultation to ensure my work remains ethical, grounded, and clinically effective.

I offer therapy in both English and Spanish, depending on client preference.

This Work Is a Good Fit If
